In my last blog, I explained how I started the fitness journey in an overview. This blog I will explain about the food which I started to change which is different from what I used to crave before I started the journey.

Before my fitness journey, I used to binge eat and Maggie, pizza, burger were my staple diet. Do you believe that I used to gorge on Maggie at 2 in the night? Yes, my unusual sleep cycle, fried foods, fat-based foods and foods that were difficult to digest were my companions.

This made me lose my fitness and also my mental stability and also gained weight increasing my waist size. I remember getting an XXXL sized dress which at the time was comfortable for me. Although the trendy stores did not have plus-sized clothes that fit me, I sometimes tailor-made my own clothes. This was my routine and one fine day, I taught why, how and when questions passed my mind.

Why am I eating unhealthy foods even though I know that they are not healthy, how can I quit so that I can lead a normal life and when can I begin? Taking these decisions was the first step to me. But I did not start as soon as I had planned as I had a couple of works to complete, and when my calendar was free I pounced upon the plan which I had made up some days before and took the heads-up immediately.

Firstly, I quit all the whites. Being a vegetarian, It was easy for me as I had to deal with mostly plant-based diets and also quitting whites was not an issue as mostly it was milk-based and mainly sugar. Yes, being in fast food and suddenly skipping them took a toll on my body, however, I believed the change would be helpful for my health hence, yes I tolerated what my mind was telling vs. what my heart was asking me to do.

So I made a fixed diet for the first month which I followed like a student who always follows the path to success and this was my diet which I began since January 2020.

And in the month of March, when the nation entered into lockdown I taught it would be helpful for people who will cook at home so I made some videos in my YouTube channel which you can follow and subscribe.

So, following this strict diet has helped me lose 40kgs in 5 months. Although I followed the diet which was based on my body capacity, I recommend you guys to follow your body as treat your body as a temple and don’t lose hope.
